Slideshow using Content Search webpart

To add an Slideshow using Content Search webpart, create a subsite using Blog template.

In the Posts list, add the below columns:

1.  Rollup image                   Type: Publishing Image;    (An existing Site Column)
2.  Display on Slideshow?     Type: Choice;   “Yes, No”

In the Home Page -> Add new WebPart in the top Zone -> Content Rollup category -> Content search has been added.

Edit WebPart -> Change query :

 

Select a query  :  items maching a content type (system)

Restricted by all :   specify a URL  http://YourSite/news/

Select Refiners tab and select Post




 Display Template and Settings:













Filtering, to just show the slides when DisplayonSlideshow? Is equal to “Yes”


Apply the settings > Save the page
